• Geauga Park District Director to Retire October 1, 2026 by Staff Report (geaugamapleleaf.com) — Geauga Park District’s longtime executive director John Oros plans to retire at the end of this year, a change that will eventually affect how parks serving Chesterland residents are led and managed. Oros, who started as a seasonal land steward in 1991, says he’s stepping down to enjoy retirement after more than three decades shaping Geauga County’s park system. 
• SOPGA: Bahr, Dornisch, Cardenas and Lambert To Be Inducted into the Southern Ohio PGA Hall of Fame (ohio.golf) — Southern Ohio PGA is inducting four golf professionals into its Hall of Fame, including Steve Lambert, who began his career at Fowler’s Mill in Chesterland. His early work at the local course helped launch a decades-long role in building and running notable golf facilities across Southern Ohio, influencing many pros and superintendents along the way.
