• Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce releases letter about data center (kentucky.com) — Chillicothe's Chamber of Commerce has laid out 12 "common-sense" guidelines it wants city planners to use if data centers come to town, focusing on water use, noise, tax breaks, and who pays if things go wrong. With no active proposal yet, the Chamber is urging the Planning Commission and City Council to set clear rules now to protect infrastructure, property values, and quality of life.
• Adena Health and Chillicothe High School Celebrate Ribbon Cutting for Cavalier Care Clinic (littermedia.com) — Students and families at Chillicothe High School now have on-campus access to primary, eye, and mental health care through the new Cavalier Care Clinic. Funded in part by Appalachian Community Grant dollars and operated by Adena Health, the clinic serves students regardless of insurance, along with staff and families, aiming to boost attendance and connect the community with convenient, routine care.
• Chillicothe students surprise WWII veteran with flight for 100th birthday (sciotovalleyguardian.com) — Chillicothe-area students from Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center gave 100-year-old World War II veteran David Lee an unforgettable birthday by arranging a surprise flight from Ross County Airport in a restored 1943 Taylorcraft. Their Voices of Freedom class had spent the past year recording his story, then rallied local donors, classmates, and Unioto Elementary students to create a community-wide celebration in his honor.
