🌱 3 Locals Conspired To Smuggle Illegals + Gas From Car Tanks Stolen

Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. Three Turkish-born Cincinnati residents have been charged with federal immigration crimes for conspiring to smuggle illegal Turkish immigrants into the United States from Mexico. 43-year-old Comert Kurdistan, 35-year old Emma Brown, and 26-year old Ismail Altundag are facing felony charges. According to the indictment, all three allegedly planned to bring at least three undocumented immigrants into the country. (FOX19)
  2. With fuel prices up, thieves have taken to drilling holes into car gas tanks to steal the fuel. In the past month, there have been at least three reported cases across Cincinnati. Residents in North Avondale, Oakley, and Mt. Washington have been victims of this purported crime. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  3. Hope4Ukraine, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit organization started by native Ukrainians and Russians, is raising funds to meet humanitarian needs in the Ukraine. Natalia Arteomva and Oksana Sergeenkova founded the nonprofit that sells soaps, buttons, toys, and other Ukrainian souvenirs in pop-up markets across Cincinnati. "We need to save the ones who are still alive in this country, we need to protect them, we need to help them," Sergeenkova said. (FOX19)
