Here are the top stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. On Small Business Saturday 2021, five Cincinnati small businesses opened up shop inside their new storefronts for the first time. The businesses are located along Hamilton Avenue. One storefront, which has been vacant since 2018, will house four small businesses. The other, just feet away, is home to a party store. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  2. Cincinnati Police are investigating a homicide at a Walmart in the Westwood neighborhood Saturday. Officials said someone opened fire in the parking lot of a Walmart Supercenter on Ferguson Road at around 3:30 p.m. Police said Jamontea Brown, 24, was killed in the shooting. (WCPO)
  3. Cincinnati Police said one person is in custody after a child was shot at the Villages at Roll Hill. Police said a 5-year-old had minor injuries after being shot in the arm Saturday afternoon. The child was treated on scene and was not taken to the hospital. (WCPO)
  4. The Cincinnati Animal Cares Shelter's Black Friday special has been a big success with 140 total adoptions so far. (WLWT Cincinnati)
