  1. Aftab Pureval has won the race for mayor of Cincinnati against former mayor David Mann. Pureval, 39, will replace longtime mayor John Cranley, who was term-limited from running again this year. The mayor-elect is currently the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts, a former federal prosecutor, and in-house counsel at Procter & Gamble. Pureval defined his campaign as a choice between the future and the past.(WLWT Cincinnati)
  2. Cincinnati Police are investigating an alleged threat made outside a polling place in North Fairmount on Election Day. The incident happened in the parking lot of 1769 Carll Street just after 9 a.m. Tuesday. The police report said someone drove past a woman in a black pickup truck, yelled an obscenity directed at Democrats, and pointed a gun at her before continuing east on Carll Street. (WCPO)

  4. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Cincinnati recently discovered methamphetamine hidden in two clay holiday figurines that arrived in a shipment from Canada. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
