Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:
- A report by Airbnb has named Cincinnati one of the top five destinations in the U.S. for digital nomads and Airbnb hosts. The city was ranked three out of five for being the "best equipped" for Airbnb residents and hosts. Los Angeles (No. 3), California (No. 2) and Irvine, California (No. 1) ranked above the Queen City. (FOX19)
- Fifty-six-year-old Timothy Hammitt was arrested for firing a gun into a home at three people he knows, said deputies. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired into a home on New Haven Road near Oxford Road in Crosby Township Tuesday night after 11:00 p.m. Hammitt was intoxicated when he was taken into custody, just two hours after dispatchers received the 911 call. - In this inflationary period, some electronics have been an exception, seeing little to no price increase. Tim May, who supervises installations at electronic store Alamo Electronics, said he has even seen some price cuts this summer. "Technology is getting better and better, and prices are not anymore now than they were three or four years ago," he added. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
