Community Celebration Marks Re-Opening of Newly Remodeled West Chester Walmart Supercenter

Walmart's continued investment brings an enhanced shopping experience, expanded services and greater convenience for West Chester families.

WEST CHESTER, OH (August 20, 2026) – Walmart recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its newly remodeled West Chester Supercenter, located at 8288 Cincinnati Dayton Road, with a community celebration highlighting the company's continued investment in Butler County and its commitment to delivering an even better shopping experience for customers.

The celebration brought together local leaders, community partners, customers and Walmart associates for a ribbon-cutting ceremony recognizing the transformation of the store and the associates who have helped serve the West Chester community for decades.

Among those participating in the celebration were Joe Hinson of the West Chester-Liberty Chamber Alliance and representatives from the Council of Clubs, Reach Out Lakota, Edge Teen Center, the Butler County Sheriff's Office and other community organizations.

Special recognition was also given to several long-term associates, whose years of dedication have helped make the West Chester store a trusted destination since it first opened on May 24, 1995.

"This store has proudly served West Chester families for more than 30 years, and we're excited to welcome our customers into a refreshed, modern shopping environment," said Scott Valentine, Store Manager. "Every improvement we've made is designed to make shopping faster, easier and more enjoyable while continuing to provide the everyday low prices our customers count on."

The remodel reflects Walmart's continued focus on creating a seamless shopping experience whether customers shop in-store, online, through pickup or with delivery. The re-grand opening is one of 18 planned for Ohio in 2026, and one of approximately 650 remodels across the U.S. The newly updated Supercenter features:

·Expanded aisles and interactive displays that help them visualize merchandise in their homes

·An elevated assortment of healthy foods and affordable, elevated brands such as De'Longhi, Oura, Jessica Simpson and Lemme

·More speed and convenience options, including delivery in as little as one hour

·A seamless store app experience, allowing customers to navigate aisles, access store services, and book oil changes at the Auto Care Center

·A Vision Center designed for greater privacy and convenience, offering brands such as Nike, Calvin Klein, and DKNY, along with services like free cleanings and adjustments

·An updated Cosmetics department featuring an enhanced beauty shopping destination.

·A new Dunkin' location, providing customers with another convenient option while they shop.

Throughout the celebration, guests also enjoyed community activities, vendor giveaways and refreshments from national brand partners including Coca-Cola, Pepsi, 7UP, General Mills, Hershey, Red Bull, Mars, Ghirardelli and Skyline Chili.
