Deputy Larry Henderson, killed in 2025 UC graduation crash, honored with new plaque (fox19.com) — Hamilton County leaders and hospital staff in Anderson Township have dedicated a memorial plaque to Deputy Larry Henderson, killed while directing traffic at a University of Cincinnati graduation in 2025. The longtime Mercy Health–Anderson deputy is remembered for his kindness and service as the accused driver awaits trial this October after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.
2. Boxing gym rallying around 14-year-old who was shot in East Price Hill (wlwt.com) — A 14-year-old boy is on life support at Cincinnati Children's after being shot in the face Tuesday evening in East Price Hill, shortly after leaving a boxing class at Lord's Gym on Warsaw Avenue. Fellow young boxers and staff say they're shaken but determined to keep the program going as a safe space while police continue investigating and have not yet announced any arrests.
3. Chilli remembers Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes before TLC's Riverbend concert (cincinnati.com) — TLC, Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue are bringing their "It's Iconic" tour to Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati tonight, promising an energetic, collaborative show packed with '90s hits. Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas reflects on TLC's legacy, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and what local fans can expect from this rare three-group lineup.
4. Hon. Jeffrey P. Hopkins (law.com) — Cincinnati residents may recognize Judge Jeffery P. Hopkins, who serves on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio in Cincinnati and has deep ties to local institutions. His career spans federal prosecution, national judiciary committees, and service on boards like the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
