• Parents, students talk safety after string of shootings near UC campus (fox19.com) — Parents and students in Cincinnati are voicing alarm after three reported shootings near the University of Cincinnati campus in two weeks, including gunfire that hit a student house just after the residents walked inside. A UC mom has launched a petition urging university, city, and police leaders to boost patrols, lighting, and safety programs around campus. Officials have not yet publicly responded.
