• ODOT To Close Both Sides Of I-75 In Cincinnati In Late September (mercercountyoutlook.net) — Drivers in Cincinnati should prepare for a full closure of I‑75 in both directions from late Friday, Sept. 25, through early Monday, Sept. 28, while crews set steel girders for the new Linn Street bridge. Detailed detours via I‑71, the Norwood Lateral, Freeman Avenue, and I‑275 will help downtown and through traffic navigate the shutdown.
   

• Riverfest 2026: A 45-year family tradition meets the biggest fireworks show yet (wcpo.com) — Cincinnati's Riverfest just wrapped up with the biggest Western & Southern/WEBN fireworks show yet, capping summer along the Ohio River with a 40‑minute display and drone pre-show. Crowds packed Sawyer Point for music, food, and family traditions like Tim Bacon's 45‑year quest to claim the same riverfront viewing spot for his sons.
   

• Man arrested after incident with Ohio Democratic gubernatorial nominee, police say (abcnews.com) — Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, who campaigned at a Cincinnati rally earlier this year, was unharmed after a man allegedly forced through a crowd at the Canfield Fair where she was speaking. Authorities arrested the suspect, recovered two handguns and brass knuckles, and state leaders from both parties condemned violence at political events.
