America's Floor Source and Mohawk Flooring Announce Launch of West Chester’s Hometown Hero Program

WEST CHESTER, OH – America's Floor Source, in partnership with Mohawk Flooring, has launched Hometown Hero, a program created to recognize people across West Chester who go above and beyond for others.

Nominations are open through September 13, 2026, to anyone who lives or works within America's Floor Source's 60-mile West Chester service area. Community members are encouraged to nominate a Hometown Hero: someone who demonstrates extraordinary community involvement or simply goes above and beyond in giving their time and commitment to others. Being a hero has many definitions: the teacher who stays late to help a struggling student, the neighbor who organizes food drives every winter, the veteran who spends weekends coaching youth sports, and countless others whose stories deserve to be told.

"We're very excited to launch Hometown Hero," said Michel Vermette, CEO of America's Floor Source. "This program means a lot to us. It's about recognizing someone who's quietly doing extraordinary things for others and giving back to a person who gives so much of themselves to our community."

The Hometown Hero will be announced on September 28 and will receive 750 square feet of Mohawk Flooring in the style of their choice, excluding hardwood, along with full installation from America's Floor Source, including subfloor preparation and all necessary prep work—a prize value totaling $7,300.
