2. Cincinnati man sentenced for fentanyl distribution resulting in overdose death (local12.com) — A 25-year-old Cincinnati man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for supplying fentanyl pills that ultimately caused a fatal overdose, following an investigation that used controlled buys after the victim's death. Two others in the distribution chain were previously sentenced, underscoring ongoing regional efforts to combat fentanyl trafficking affecting Greater Cincinnati communities.
3. Friday Night Football: All the best action from Week 4 in Cincinnati, NKY (wlwt.com) — High school football fans across Greater Cincinnati just wrapped up an action-packed Week 4, with standout performances from teams on both sides of the river. From Kings' dominant win over West Clermont to triple-overtime thrillers and milestone victories, the roundup pulls together scores, highlights, and links to deeper coverage of the biggest games.
4. Loveland honors first responders of 9/11, dedicates bench to Deputy Larry Henderson (fox19.com) — Loveland residents gathered to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and dedicate a memorial bench to Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy Larry Henderson. Henderson, who died while directing traffic at a University of Cincinnati graduation, is now honored with a permanent place for reflection that underscores local first responders' ongoing sacrifices and the community's promise to never forget.
