Cincinnati council seeks neighborhood input on growth plans after railroad sale (fox19.com) — Cincinnati City Council is pushing departments to start spending $72 million from the Cincinnati Southern Railway sale on neighborhood projects, and wants residents more involved in deciding where that money goes. Top 10 events this weekend include fall fests and a Bengals home game (cincinnati.com) — This weekend offers Cincinnati-area residents a packed lineup, from the Bengals' home game and Hyde Park Square Art Show to Oktoberfest at Donauschwaben Park and Sunflower Fest in Evendale. You'll also find festivals in neighborhoods like Over-the-Rhine, Walnut Hills, and Wyoming, plus comedy, live music, and family-friendly fall celebrations across Greater Cincinnati.
3. NKU students bring interactive art installation to BLINK Through TANK Partnership (citybeat.com) — Northern Kentucky University art students are helping transform a TANK bus into an interactive BLINK installation that will roll through Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Oct. 8–11. Their "Beyond the Bridge" project uses 35,000 LEDs, projections, cameras, and sound to celebrate the bridges and connections between the two sides of the Ohio River, while giving students real-world experience in large-scale public art.

Meet some of the Cincinnati artists lighting up BLINK 2026 (citybeat.com) — Cincinnati artists are preparing major installations for BLINK 2026, from Dan Shields' interactive "String Theory for Dummies 2.0" at Elm Street Plaza to Black Art Speaks' new "Passing the Torch" mural on Plum Street and a funk-inspired projection at Elm Street Plaza.
