🌱 Attackers Of Couple Sought + City Ranks No. 3 For Recreation

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. Cincinnati police are searching for several young men who attacked Colleen Herman and her husband, Dave, while they were waiting for an Uber on E. Freedom way at the intersection of Marion Spencer Way early Sunday morning. Herman and her husband had left a nearby bar and were waiting for the Uber when they were attacked by about 10 men and one woman. Officers arrested 18-year-old Faith Parker and charged her with misdemeanor assault. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  2. WalletHub ranked Cincinnati No. 3 in the nation in its 2022 list of the "Best and Worst Cities for Recreation." WalletHub looked at 100 of the largest cities in the U.S. and used 47 indicators of recreation-friendliness, said the report. Cincinnati hit the No. 1 spot for number of park playgrounds and swimming pools per capita. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  3. A teenage cyclist was struck by an SUV in Over-the-Rhine on Tuesday evening and taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The incident happened around 8:00 p.m. at the corner of E. Clifton Avenue and Lang Street. The teen boy was riding south on Lang when the SUV hit him. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
