🌱 CPD Sends Ballistic Helmets To Ukraine + Mail Thieves In Cincy

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:
- The Cincinnati Police Department has announced plans to donate 950 ballistic helmets to support Ukraine during the ongoing Russian invasion. The helmets will be used by Ukraine to defend their country. The department reports that the helmets were expired or no longer under warranty but they are still worth sending. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- Authorities report that thieves are stealing checks out of mailboxes across the greater Cincinnati area. According to reports, many residents across multiple communities have fallen victim to the mail thieves. Residents are being advised to take their mail into post offices and not to leave mail overnight in mailboxes. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- The Cincinnati Police Department is currently investigating an overnight shooting on Quebec Avenue near Glenway Avenue is being investigated by the Cincinnati Police. The initial investigation indicates the cause of the early Friday morning shooting may have been a road rage incident. The victim sustained two gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. (FOX19)
