Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:
- If you're looking to celebrate the Bengals' trip to the Super Bowl, you're in luck! A pep rally was held on Monday at Paul Brown Stadium to kick off the events, and celebrations will continue throughout the week at Fountain Square, Findlay Market, Newport on the Levee, and The Banks. Upcoming events include inflatable football toss with the Cincinnati Circus Company, Party Like It's 1989, and Game Dey at The Banks. (WCPO)
- A White Castle employee suffered a gunshot wound on Monday. According to Cincinnati Police, at around 10:00 p.m., a manager was shot in the drive-thru at a White Castle in Carthage. The manager was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and police are now looking for the suspect. (Fox19)
- To celebrate the Bengals' run to the 2022 Super Bowl, Hudepohl Beers released the Hu-Dey cans, but not for long. On Monday, Hudephol released the cans for $10 per six-pack for one day only from 1-5 p.m at 1621 Moore St. in Over-The-Rhine and stated that once the cans are gone, they're gone. The release caused long lines outside of the brewery and even caused some traffic backups in the neighborhood. (WLWT5)
