🌱 Cincinnati Children's Hospital Valentines + Jury Trials Resume

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Cincinnati.

Good day, neighbors! It's me again, Sean Peek, your host of the Cincinnati Daily.

First, today's weather:

Cooler with rain. High: 44 Low: 22.

Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. Jury trials will resume in Hamilton County beginning on Feb. 7, as COVID-19 cases decrease. Previously, jury trials were suspended in January due to the surge of cases. According to the court, they will "continue to monitor this fluid situation." (WLWT Cincinnati)
  2. Bright Eyes will be stopping in Cincinnati as part of the trio's ever-expanding tour for 2022. Throughout the tour, the band will continue to support its 2020 album "Down in the Weeds," which was their first album release since 2011's "The People's Key." The show will take place on June 1 at Cincinnati's Andrew J. Brady Music Center. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  3. You can send a special valentine to a patient at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital — here's how! Now through Feb. 14, those interested can fill out a form online and select a valentine for free which will be delivered to patients at the hospital with a game printed on the back. The hospital is also taking donations which will be matched by Kolar Design, the team behind this year's artwork for the cards, up to $20,000. (WLWT Cincinnati)
