Cincinnati Elementary Students Will Perform Jazz For International Audience On January 8

The CPS Elementary Jazz Orchestra will take center stage and perform virtually for the 2021 Jazz Education Network Global Conference at 1 p.m. January 8, 2021.

CPS' music teachers have been sent information to log into the virtual concert and share with their students.

The Elementary Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Isidore Rudnick, was one of 30 student groups invited to perform. The 29-member orchestra represents 14 CPS elementary schools.

All COVID-19 safety measures will be in place during this performance.
