  • Students in grades 2–3 will receive iPads. Student in grades 4–12 will receive laptops. The devices are on loan and must be returned at the end of the school year.
  • Students in grades 4–12 who were issued iPads this summer must bring those iPads with them when they pick up new devices.
  • Students in grades 4–11 who were issued laptops previously by CPS may keep those devices for the 2020–21 school year.
  • Students who have devices of their own at home are welcome to continue to use them, but CPS does have enough computers available for all students in grades 2–12.

CPS-provided devices have MicroSoft Office installed, which students will need to do school work, and child-protection firewalls.
