Cincinnati Public Schools Earn Financial Reporting Award For 15th Consecutive Year

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest award presented for state and local government financial reporting.

Cincinnati Public Schools' (CPS) Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest award presented for state and local government financial reporting.

To be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government entity must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized CAFR that meets program standards. The CAFR must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.
