Hello, Cincinnati! Like many of you, the Patch staff will be taking some time off to enjoy the holiday this weekend. Your next newsletter will be in your inbox on Tuesday morning. Now, here's everything you need to know about what's going on in town today.
First, today's weather:
Humid; a stray a.m. t-shower. High: 90 Low: 68.
Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:
- On Jul. 4, members of the military can get into the Cincinnati Zoo for free, and up to six members of their immediate family can get in with discounted tickets. The free admission is extended to active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge, and Reserve Officers' Training Corps with government-issued ID. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- The holiday weekend won't be a total washout! A slight drop in the highest levels of humidity briefly is expected this afternoon (Jul. 2) through tomorrow afternoon, before rising again. Heat and humidity increase more for Independence Day with highs in the low 90s. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
