- This past Saturday saw hundreds of rallies advocating for gun safety across the country. As part of National Gun Violence Awareness Day, which was on Jun. 3 this year, over a hundred people gathered at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati to call for an end to gun violence. The rally included speeches from gun violence survivors, elected officials, faith leaders, and law enforcement. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
