Here are the top four stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. "Black Tech Week" will relocate from Miami, FL to Cincinnati, providing new opportunities for innovators of color in the Queen City. The Cincinnati Innovation District community network has partnered with Cincinnati-based entrepreneurial group, the Lightship Foundation, to bring the tech event to town Jul. 18 to 22, 2022.   2. Coney Island will open the floodgates on Memorial Day Weekend for the new summer season. Cincinnati's favorite water park will also celebrate its 2022 season by attempting to set a new World Record. On Jun. 17, the park will be open for 24 hours for the first time in its 130-year history as it attempts to break the record for most people down a waterslide in 24 hours. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  3. The suspect in the April murder of Wilmer Diaz in the CUF neighborhood has been arrested on an open murder warrant. On Apr. 20, Diaz, 19, was fatally wounded, while another victim was shot in the leg and taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Wesley Noble, 29, was taken into police custody on May 19. The investigation is ongoing. (FOX19)
  4. Global cuisines dominated at this year's Taste of Cincinnati's 'Best of Taste," featuring the city's best restaurants and food trucks. Participants were judged by the public last week at Findlay Kitchen and Longworth Hall and presented in Soup/Salad/Side, Appetizer, Entree, and Dessert categories. Winners included Alfio's Buon Cibo and Sweets & Meats BBQ in the Restaurant group and Dine-In Hawaiian and Wicked Hickory in the Food Truck group. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
