While he was on a ventilator, Julie Smith filed a lawsuit against West Chester Hospital for refusing to honor a prescription of ivermectin written by a physician who founded a controversial group that champions the drug. A victim of the serial rapist Stoney Brown, who targeted University of Cincinnati students, said she will 'live in fear' of his possible release from prison in a statement during Monday's hearing. The woman was a 22-year-old UC student when Brown attacked her in 1996 in the middle of the night. When she found out the plea agreement only called for a 20-year sentence, she said it didn't seem like justice. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
