🌱 Gas Prices Remain High On The West Side + E-Scooter Curfew Extended

Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. The Department of Transportation and Engineering recommended that the Lime and Bird e-scooter curfew in Cincinnati be extended to 9:00 p.m., effective immediately. The recommendation came down on Tuesday. DOTE Director John Brazina said the department has worked with both companies over the last 60 days to address serious issues connected with the e-scooters in the city, including scooters being used in crimes, reckless riding, and a lack of organized parking.   2. Clermont County's Eastgate Mall sold at auction for $13 million. The Greater Cincinnati foreclosed mall was sold back to its lender, Wells Fargo Commercial Mortgage Securities. According to an auction report, the mall was appraised at $20 million. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  3. WKRC Local 12 found that gas prices in Delhi Township, Westwood, and other West Side neighborhoods are as much as 64 cents higher than at gas stations in other parts of Greater Cincinnati. On Monday, gas was $4.63 at the Speedway on Anderson Ferry and Foley roads and at the Shell station down the road. However, a few miles away at the BP on Jefferson Avenue at Corry Street in Corryville, gas was being sold for $3.99 on Monday. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
