Here are the top stories today in Cincinnati:
- A 59-year-old male was found dead on 655 W. Mehring Way early Saturday morning near the Brent Spence Bridge. Silverio Moody Jr., 59, was found dead at approximately 1:05 a.m. by responding police officers. Cincinnati Police were notified after receiving reports of a person down in the roadway. The investigation into Moody's homicide is ongoing. (WCPO)
- A federal judge has upheld the Greater Cincinnati hospital vaccine mandate policy. Judge Timothy Black ruled the hospitals didn't need an immediate stop to the mandate. Workers wanted a temporary restraining order from the vaccine requirements which start taking effect Friday. Workers sued Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Christ Hospital, TriHealth, which includes Bethesda and Good Samaritan Hospital, UC Health and Mercy Health. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- Nearly 200 people marched against a possible abortion ban in Mason on Saturday. The March for Reproductive Freedom was held in Warren County, a suburban county between Dayton and Cincinnati which has become a battleground in the abortion wars. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
- A man with Cincinnati ties is wanted for defrauding car dealerships of more than $1 million. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- All 18 pets that were rescued from Hurricane Ida and brought to a Cincinnati adoption event in have been adopted this week. (WLWT Cincinnati)
