John P. Parker Elementary School, Rising Stars of America (RSOA) and the Madisonville Education & Assistance Center (MEAC) are hosting Read Across Madisonville Family Literacy Night "It's A Family Affair" from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Artsville, 5021 Whetsel Avenue, 45227.

- Special performance by Michelle Hughes
- Michelle Hughes is an energetic presenter, author, singer, songwriter and passionate educator who enjoys interacting with school leaders, staff and families. Her mission in life is to improve the lives of others through song, word or deeds. Currently, she fulfills that mission in the marketplace as an educational consultant and as the editorial assistant for the Journal of Marriage and Family Review, an international journal in family science.
