Here are the top stories today in Cincinnati:
- A 10-year-old from Cincinnati will be cooking up some delicious sweets and treats on a new season of a Food Network show that will soon be debuting to the public. Lucia Calonge will be competing on the dessert competition series called "Kids Baking Championship." This season will begin airing on Food Network and Discovery+ on Dec. 27 at 8 p.m. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- A man is under arrest after shooting a 5-year-old child on Cincinnati's west side. James Medeiros is accused of firing several times into a home in the 2400 block of Nottingham Road in the Villages of Roll Hill on Nov. 27 and was charged Wednesday with one count of felonious assault and two counts of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school safety zone. The child had an arm wound and was treated at the scene. (WXIX)
