  1. The La Salle High School vocal ensemble was nominated to sing at an event commemorating the anniversary of the Normandy landings next year. The ensemble is one of only two groups to be selected to represent the United States at the D-Day ceremony in France next June. The students are currently raising money to defray the costs of the trip. (Cincinnati Business Courier)
  2. Authorities are investigating after a fire erupted at a vacant house in Lincoln Heights on Sunday night. Crews from several neighboring fire departments extinguished the blaze on Prairie Avenue, but not before it caused an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in damages. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. (WXIX)
  3. Cincinnati is on course to see a second record year of homicides in the city. As of Monday, 91 people had been killed in the city, compared to a total of 94 killings in 2020. While homicides are expected to surpass the record, the total number of fatal and non-fatal shootings has decreased nearly 18 percent between this year and last year. (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
