Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:
- A new exhibit at The Cincinnati Museum Center is putting Cincinnati innovators on permanent display. The museum's new exhibit, open Thursday through Monday, celebrates a historical journey of all things "Made in Cincinnati" in a fun way. It showcases the innovation and success of Queen City creators from brands like Kroger and Procter & Gamble, but also people like inventor and businessman Henry Boyd and pharmacist Cora Dow. - Later this month, a World War II Landing Ship Tank will dock in Cincinnati. Residents will be able to tour the LST 325, a 328-foot-long ship, when it docks at the Public Boat Landing from Sep. 28 through Oct. 3. The ship has a lot of history and was there during the invasion at Omaha Beach on D-Day, Jun. 6, 1944, and at Sicily on Jul. 10, 1943. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- This weekend, numerous memorials and events have been planned to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11. Sunday will mark the 21st anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, that left thousands dead and more injured. Events will take from Friday through Sunday, including a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony hosted by Stand2Serve and a Steps 'n Salutes Green Beret 5K in Nisbet Park on Sunday. (FOX19)
