The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Cincinnati.
Good day, people of Cincinnati! It's me again, Sean Peek, your host of the Cincinnati Daily.
First, today's weather:
Sunny and quite cold. High: 23 Low: 9.
Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:
- Museum Camps will be returning for in-person learning this summer at the Cincinnati Museum Center. Various options are available for campers K-6, although slots are limited for each Museum Camp to ensure there is plenty of space and equipment. Camps will begin the week of May 31 and run through Aug. 5. (WXIX)
- A long-closed Over-the-Rhine restaurant will finally reopen in a new space recently vacated following a lawsuit. Kruger's Tavern, which had not reopened since the beginning of the pandemic, will reopen in the former Panino space at 1313 Vine Street this summer. The eclectic restaurant by the Thunderdome Restaurant Group was formerly located at 1211 Vine Street and will continue to serve up a menu of house-made sausages and burgers. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- In an effort to aid the national blood shortage, Krispy Kreme will be giving away a dozen free glazed donuts to those who donate blood. Free donuts will be offered to blood donors from Jan. 24-31 at participating locations in Cincinnati and nationwide. In order to qualify, donors must show proof that they gave blood during the promotion's run date. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
