Here are the top stories in Cincinnati today:
- The long-awaited renovation of a Price Hill high-rise is officially complete, offering almost 200 units of quality, affordable housing to Cincinnati families. Officials cut the ribbon on The Pinecrest Apartments on Wednesday. The nine-story, 190-unit complex hadn't been updated since it was built more than 40 years ago. (WXIX)
- A decades-long partnership between Cincinnati Public Schools and the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority will come to a close at the end of this school year. Exactly how CPS students will be shuttled next school year isn't clear as of now, although it will likely be on a charter service. The decision came to light after the district began soliciting bids from Metro and other charter bus companies, effectively disqualifying Metro from its process because the transit authority cannot compete with charter operators under federal law. - Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney has been named Cincinnati's vice mayor. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- Cleaning superstar, Sarah McAllister, who is the owner of Go Clean Co, visits Cincinnati to partner with P&G. (WLWT Cincinnati)
