Humid with a heavy thunderstorm. High: 81 Low: 71.

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. Cincinnati's Red Bike has opened a new station in Lower Price Hill. The nonprofit bike share's newest location can be found at Hatmaker Street and State Avenue. Anyone interested in signing up for a membership or learning more about Red Bike can do so at cincyredbike.org. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  2. Hoxworth Blood Center is partnering with seven Cincinnati-area arts organizations for a unique blood drive event. Donors can head to Music Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, to give back while enjoying live performances. Participating organizations include The Cincinnati Arts Association, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera, May Festival, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Friends of Music Hall. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. On Thursday, the Cincinnati Reds and its partners gave Lincoln Heights a community-wide makeover. The Reds joined volunteers from Duke Energy, P&G, GE, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and The Cincinnati Zoo to beautify the village. Parks, schools, and health centers across the Cincinnati suburb received some much-deserved renovations. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
