Ohio Girl, 11, Tased By Cops: Reports
The girl was suspected of shoplifting and allegedly walked away when confronted by an off-duty cop.

CINCINNATI, OH — An 11-year-old girl was reportedly stunned with a Taser on Monday night. An off-duty police officer suspected the girl was shoplifting from a Kroger's grocery store and used the Taser to subdue the kid.
The officer reportedly approached the girl to confront her about stealing merchandise. The 11-year-old ignored the off-duty cop and started to walk away. The officer then reportedly used his Taser to stun her, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. The incident has provoked immediate outrage from the community and members of the city administration.
"There needs to be a complete investigation," said Vice Mayor Christopher Smitherman, chairman of council's Law and Public Safety Committee. "It's hard to understand why an 11-year-old would be tased. I expect answers in 24 hours."
