Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. Cincinnati's Maverick Chocolate has been awarded the Good Food Award. The award will be presented on March 4 and will be the sixth Good Food Award that Maverick Chocolate has won, making them one of the most recognized chocolate makers in the United States. The award is for their Prohibition Bourbon Milk Chocolate bar that has hints of smoked sea salt in it. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  2. The City of Cincinnati has lifted the mask mandates for employees and visitors of their facilities. The termination of the mandates was caused by declining COVID-19 infection rates, according to city officials. The mask mandates were placed in January by Mayor Aftab Pureval. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. The Cincinnati Police Department has officially changed its chase policy. Officers are no longer allowed to chase suspects who have committed misdemeanors. Only violent felony offenders will be chased, according to the new policy. The changes were prompted after the department realized that chases are hazardous to everyone involved. (FOX19)
