Flashing red lights mean that children are getting on or off the school bus and may be crossing the street. Other vehicles sharing the road are required to stop when the red lights are activated.

Cincinnati Public Schools has additional safety protocols in place for inside the school bus, too, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Wear a face mask that covers nose and mouth
  • One child per seat (a sister or brother may sit together)
  • Sit only in every other seat to keep distance between bus riders
  • Face forward in the seat
  • Keep 6-feet apart while getting on and off buses
