🌱 Second Worst Truck Bottleneck + Webpage For Pothole Repairs

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Cincinnati.

Hey, Cincinnati! Here's everything you need to know to get this Wednesday started off right. Here's everything you need to know today in town.

First, today's weather:

Increasing cloudiness. High: 64 Low: 53.

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. Cincinnati's I-71 and I-75 confluence at the Brent Spence Bridge have been named by the American Transportation Research Institute as the second-worst truck bottleneck in the country. The Institute uses GPS to determine the speed and ease it takes for freight trucks to make it through the confluence. On average, a freight truck goes about 33.6 MPH across the Brent Spence Bridge. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  2. The City of Cincinnati hired a new consultant to consult on the Collaborative Agreement. Iris Roley, an original member of the Cincinnati Black United Front, has been tasked with reviewing citizen complaints against the Cincinnati Police Department. Roley will bring her concerns directly to the City Manager, according to officials with the city. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. Potholes are popping up across Cincinnati and the city has created a webpage dedicated to repairing them. Those who have noticed a pothole can report it using the webpage and the Department of Public Services will add it to their queue of repairs. The webpage asks for an address nearest to the pothole and asks the user to answer a series of questions with the option to attach a photo of the pothole. (WLWT Cincinnati)
