1. A Loveland teen has spent the last five years raising money to purchase blankets for Cincinnati's homeless. Gianpaolo Scheve began the organization Cincerely Blankets at age 12. Now in its fifth year, the organization has raised more than $11,000 and distributed 1100 blankets. Community members wishing to donate can visit the organization's website. (Loveland Magazine)
2. Scientists at Cincinnati Children's Hospital continue to make strides toward major medical advancements. Researchers have created a complex miniature stomach, called an organoid, in a lab, which could one day assist with drug testing and stomach repairs. (WVXU)
