Walnut Hills High School grad honored as student leader at Ohio University

Kylie Bridgeman (Walnut Hills High School class of 2022) was named a top senior at Ohio University.

At an awards ceremony on April 8 in Athens, Bridgeman was honored as an Outstanding Senior Leader at Ohio University and Sorority/Fraternity Member of the Year. She is president of the Black Student Cultural Programming Board.

Bridgeman was senior class president at Walnut Hills High School, editor of the yearbook, and active on the award-winning student newspaper The Chatterbox.

Since 2023, Bridgeman has been an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow at WLWT News 5 in Cincinnati. She will graduate from Ohio University’s Scripps College of Communication on May 2. After graduation, Bridgeman plans to join the news team at WHIO-TV in Dayton.
