Community Action Against Hunger Food Drive on October 7 (circlevilleherald.com) β Circleville volunteers are gearing up for a major countywide "Action Against Hunger" food drive on October 7, with donations sorted and repacked at Circleville Presbyterian Church. Student groups and 23 local organizations will collect nonperishables and toiletries that stock 25 outdoor Community Cupboards across Pickaway County, ensuring every contribution directly supports neighbors in need.

Driver Injured After Running Stop Sign, Crashing Into Circleville Home (sciotopost.com) β A Circleville driver was taken to OhioHealth Berger Hospital after running a stop sign at Cedar Heights Drive and Atwater Road and crashing into a home Sunday night. Police say the 54-year-old man suffered minor injuries, no one inside the house was hurt, and he was cited for failure to control after his car sustained disabling front-end damage.

3. October Thrills Come to Circleville as Roundtown Players Present 'The Canterville Ghost' (sciotopost.com) β Circleville theatergoers can catch Roundtown Players' spooky-comic production of Oscar Wilde's The Canterville Ghost on back-to-back weekends in early October. Performances run October 2β4 and 9β11 at Roundtown Players Theater in downtown Circleville, with a large local cast bringing the classic haunted-house story to life.

4. Santa is accepting Christmas letters! (circlevilleherald.com) β Families in Circleville can send wish lists to Santa through USPS Operation Santa, as long as letters are mailed by December 5 with complete addresses. Residents can also register online starting November 2 to adopt local or national letters, and the Circleville Post Office on South Court Street is listed for anyone with questions about how the program works.
