1-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Cleveland

CLEVELAND — A 1-year-old boy was shot and killed on Cleveland's east side on Saturday evening. Isaiah Martin was rushed to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police were called to the 14200 block of Rexwood Avenue at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. Callers said there had been a shooting involving a 1-year-old child.

Officers arrived, found Martin and rushed him to MetroHealth Medical Center. Martin was later pronounced deceased, police said.

Investigators are exploring the possibility of an accidental shooting, police said. The shooter may have been a person inside the home.
