1-Year-Old Wounded During Shooting in Cleveland

A 19-year-old was also shot in the chest and back. One of the suspects was wearing a "Joker" mask.

CLEVELAND, OH - A 1-year-old and 19-year-old were shot in the shoulder on Halloween in Cleveland.

Five people were driving along E. 149th and Harvard. One of the people in the car noticed that a black Ford was following them and the driver was wearing a "Joker" mask. Deandre Veal, who was driving the vehicle with five people in it, turned east onto Harvard and the Ford followed them.

The suspects ordered Veal to pull his car over. Instead, he sped up onto Harvard. He heard multiple shots hit his car.

Jason Graves, 19, was shot in the chest and back and a 1-year-old had a bullet graze her shoulder. Everyone else in the car was fine. Graves was life flighted to MetroHealth.

Veal told officers that when he realized two of his passengers were shot he immediately drove to South Point Hospital.
