10-Year-Old Arrested In Connection To Killing Of Step-Mom: Police
Shavonne Willis was shot to death September 26, Cleveland police said. On Friday, her step-son was arrested in connection with her death.

CLEVELAND — A 10-year-old has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of his step-mom, Shavonne Willis. The boy's father turned him in to the homicide unit on Friday, Cleveland Police said.
Police said Willis was shot to death on September 26 on E. 121st Street. Police arrived and found the 36-year-old Willis with multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to University Hospitals, but was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators initially thought another adult had shot Willis. The 10-year-old, who was also at the scene of the shooting, was originally considered a victim in the incident.

The boy's father brought him to meet with investigators from the Cleveland Homicide Unit on Friday, October 26. The boy was then arrested and taken to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center.
It's not yet clear what charges the boy could be facing.
