11-Year-Old Shot To Death In Cleveland
Police said the boy was shot in the chest during a party. He died at the hospital.

CLEVELAND — An 11-year-old boy was shot to death in Cleveland on Saturday night, police announced. Police said the boy was shot during a party and two juveniles carried him outside and tried to flag down officers.
At 9:30 p.m., police were called to E. 97th street for reports of a man shot. When officers arrived, the 11-year-old was getting medical treatment from EMS. The boy was taken University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
Investigators learned the 11-year-old had been in an apartment and carried outside by two juveniles. A resident of the building said she had allowed her teenage son to host a birthday party and had left to go to a nearby store. When she returned, she learned there had been a shooting in the apartment.

Police said no arrests have been made in the case. The investigation is ongoing.
The homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are both involved in the investigation.
