A 12-year-old boy died after a shooting on the east side of Cleveland, police announced.
CLEVELAND — A 12-year-old boy died after a shooting on the east side of Cleveland on Monday, police announced.
At 1:30 p.m., police were called to a home on E. 94th Street in the Kinsman neighborhood. Callers said a 12-year-old boy had been shot.
Officers found the boy and he was rushed to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the boy's death may have been accidental. The shooting remains under investigation and the Cleveland police homicide unit is taking part in the investigation.
