15-Year-Old Shot To Death In Cleveland

A teenage boy was killed in Cleveland on Monday morning, police announced.

CLEVELAND — A 15-year-old boy was shot to death in Cleveland on Monday morning, police announced. Investigators believe the boy was killed in a drive-by shooting.

At 11 a.m., police were called 4419 Woodland Avene for reports of a shooting. Officers found the 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to his torso. EMS rushed the teenager to MetroHealth Medical Center.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office are taking part in the investigation.

Police believe the shooter was a man driving a white sedan, a Cleveland police spokesperson said. The shooting is still under investigation.
