15-Year-Old Shot Multiple Times In Cleveland

Police said the teenager was walking near a housing complex when he was hurt in a drive-by shooting.

CLEVELAND — A 15-year-old boy was shot to death on Cleveland's east side on Wednesday night.

At 8:20 p.m. shots were fired near a housing complex on Scovill Avenue. When officers arrived, they learned that two people had been shot — a 15-year-old and a 43-year-old man.

The teenager had been shot multiple times. He was rushed to University Hospitals by EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.

The 43-year-old was found at the intersection of E. 55th and Scovill. He had been shot in the shoulder. He was also taken to University Hospitals for treatment.

Police believe the 15-year-old and two other teenagers were walking near the housing complex on Scovill. The 43-year-old was also strolling on Scovill.

Two vehicles pulled up and began shooting at the teenagers. The 15-year-old was hit multiple times, but the other two teens escaped unharmed.
