18-Year-Old Shot To Death In Cleveland On Sunday Night

CLEVELAND — An 18-year-old was shot to death in Cleveland on Sunday night. Police are still investigating the killing and have made no arrests to date.

At 8 p.m. on Sunday, callers reported a shooting at an apartment complex on Garden Valley, near the Kinsman neighborhood. Officers found the 18-year-old outside the complex. He had been shot multiple times, police said. EMS took him to University Hospital.

At the hospital, the 18-year-old was pronounced dead, Cleveland police said.

Investigators learned the man was seen walking into an apartment building with another man. Shots were then fired and the 18-year-old was seen running outside, where he eventually collapsed.

Members of Cleveland police's homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office were at Garden Valley investigating the killing. A final cause of death has not yet been determined, Cleveland police said.
