19-Year-Old Found Dead Inside Crashed Car In Cleveland

Police were called to an accident after the car hit a fence on Cleveland's west side.

CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old was found shot to death inside a crashed car on Monday evening.

At 8 p.m., a car crashed into a fence outside of a church on Triskett Road. When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old inside the crashed car. He had been shot multiple times.

The 19-year-old was taken to Fairview Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe the 19-year-old was leaving a memorial service with another man in his car, when another car drove by and someone inside the vehicle shot at him.

Police believe the 19-year-old driver was hit by the bullets, while his passenger got out of the car and returned fire. The passenger then ran off.

The 19-year-old's car then crashed into two other vehicles and then the fence.

This killing is still under investigation, Cleveland police said.
