19-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Car In Cleveland

Police said a 16-year-old was also shot in the hip during the shooting.

CLEVELAND — A 19-year-old was shot to death in Cleveland over the weekend, police announced.

On Friday evening, shots were heard near W. 91st and Denison Avenue. Callers soon reported that a man had been shot.

When police arrived, they found the 19-year-old in the driver's seat of a car. A 16-year-old was found on the ground nearby with a gunshot wound to his hip.

EMS rushed both teenagers to MetroHealth Medical Center, where the 19-year-old was declared dead. The 16-year-old was taken into surgery.

Members of the homicide unit are taking part in the investigation into the shooting. Police believe the shooting may have been drug related.

The suspects are three unidentified men. Detectives are still investigating the shooting.
